they got a good chance to make it to the Eastern Conference finals, heh

Rose has really stepped up his game, which in turn has made everyone else play better. they are on a roll and i hope they don't make it to the finals. i'd rather see the spurs play miami than chicago

Kurt Thomas' wife/girlfriend used to sit behind me when he played for the spurs. you can always tell a player's woman by the size of the rocks on their hands

my Spurs on the other hand, even though they are the #1 seed in the west they seem to have the toughest road to the finals.

yup, my bullies are peeking at the right time
and thank you suns for beating the spurs last night to give chi-town home court throughout

the celtics seem like a spent team but that's what everyone said last year
the team i'm worried about are the heat
if bosh keeps his recent play going they could be dangerous
they still have a problem holding a lead in the fourth
and have a pitiful record versus playoff bound teams

I haven't followed the NBA much until a few years ago. I'm happy as hell the Thunder have home court advantage for the first round. As long as I can remember Oklahoma has been a college sports state. It's nice for once to have a local pro team to get into.

this will be a closer series than most people think, if s-meyer comes back in time and with melo finally gel'n with the team,
the knickerbockers could push this series to 6 or 7 games
the celt's are looking old and tired

Anyone up for a NBA playoffs pool, gentlemens bet only

round 1, 8 matchups:
1 point for choosing the winner
2 points for choosing the number of games

round 2, 4 matchups:
2 point for choosing the winner
3 points for choosing the number of games

round 3 (Conference Finals), 2 matchups:
3 point for choosing the winner
4 points for choosing the number of games

round 4 (NBA Championship) 1 matchup:
4 point for choosing the winner
5 points for choosing the number of games

You only make your predictions one round at a time.

Any interest?

well, it wasn't perdy but i'll take a bulls playoff win any way they can get it
i want them to sweep to reduce the chance of rose getting injured
the way he's driving towards the net, he must be feeling a lot of hard contact

They gave everybody white shirts last year for the home playoff games vs. the Lakers.

given that you guys make it past the nuggets, you have a legit chance to beat the spurs
only thing that worries me about the Thunder is their consistancy
they can play so well and then look like shit

agreed, if the Spurs make it past the grizzlies, the Thunder are going to be even tougher. I'm a longhorn and Durant fan, so it would definitely be a fun series to watch. Holding my breath the spurs can win one in memphis.

if the Thunder can keep up the intensity they showed yesterday they can be the spurs in a seven game series
but they can't afford periods of mediocer play as the spurs' playoff experience will take advantage of such situations

if anything, the grizzlies and the hornets are making the spurs and lakers work
tire them out for round 2
