My pops picked it up at a gunshow. He was half looking for it and mentioned it to a guy who pulled it from under his table.

I love stories like that lol. What's the make on it? I was thinking about building a 50 or that.

It's a rock river upper on a generic mil spec lower build.

We choose the Socom for better bullet selection and RRA customer support is better than the guys who build the 50. Plus you don't need anything special to run 458. (buffer springs, mags, etc.)

Going out to the range this Thursday and finally found some reasonably priced ammo at walmart . I've never used American Eagle before, reviews seem okay... I usually use Federal, but have you guys used AE before?

Yes it shoots just fine. I've shot 9mm, 10mm and 357. No problems what so ever. It's actually the best priced 10mm around me.

American Eagle shot fine. Out of a 100 rounds I only got 3 light strikes, but they fired when manually fed... I'll check my firing pin later lol.

I got the itch for a new gun so bad right now. Really want a remington 870 but I just won't be able to shoot it as much as I want living in IL.

I have a mossberg 500 and a stevens 320 and I shoot them every time I go to the range. Go to the range on Grand avenue just west of Harlem. You can shoot a shotgun all year round there. The only rule is only lead ammo. You can shoot buckshot or slugs. Just not bird shot. PM me if you need any more info. I go there twice a month. Real relaxed atmosphere.

Oh and my next shotgun will probably be a Mossberg 930. At least that's the one I want anyway. Gotta save for that bad boy

Awesome. I'll check it out.

You ever heard of a saiga 12? Clip fed semi auto. Based off the AK receiver. So fucking badass.

That's the 12 round semi auto shotgun right? Yeah that thing looks sick! I'm trying to save up for a used .44 mag right now. I wish I had the money for a new one but oh well.

Yeah they make a 20 round drum for em too Shocked No one ever needs that kind of firepower, but shit, I WANT IT.

I seriously want so many different guns...I finally just ordered the first set of parts to convert my saiga 7.62 to an AK.

Nice man. I hear you man I want a lot of guns too. My dad recently got an old Stevens and an old Mossberg and I gotta tell you they don't make 'em like they used to. His are waaaay smoother and sturdier feeling than mine. And mine are brand new.

Oh my god. I gotta have this shit.

Kel-tec KSG. Apparently you can't find em anywhere though. The company is pretty small and I guess they rotate through their different production lines, so there's never enough to meet demand.

Some of you know I recently sold off some of my more rare Squadts, and now I can post why. I just picked up a rifle that is as much a work of art as it is a weapon... an Al Biesen 22-250. Al was a world renowned hand-crafted custom gun maker whose guns have been owned and used by the best of the best. Jack O'Connor, one of the top huntsmen that ever lived had an Al Biesen custom rifle that was his favorite gun. Al's work has been copied by many...including the cheek piece seen below...but it was Al's invention. It's an honor to own such a fine piece. The bolt's been shortened and shares all the characteristics of a pre-64 Mauser-action. Muzzle velocity is a beefy 4000 ft/sec. Delicious. Very Happy For more on Al: http://www.biesen.com/Al.html

I can't own guns I don't shoot. Basically even if I bought a show piece I'd end up putting at least a few rounds through it at some point. Super cool rifle man.

Edit: Just wanted to point out this wasn't meant as sarcasm. I get where MikeyK is coming from.
