with such a short season, you can't afford to play poorly for too long.........but hell, the Rangers are only 1 point outta the 8th seed.

I haven't kept up with hockey in so long, but I am dying to a Ducks game. I've loved hockey for as long as I can remember, but it was hard to keep up with a sport that was practically unheard of growing up in New Mexico.

Yes very true, but the "only" cable company we have there only had OG ESPN. So anytime there would be a basketball game on at the same time as hockey the basketball game would be shown instead. The only time I could get to see hockey was on sportscenter. I remember when the Avalanche came about. That was the first time you could find a hockey jersey in NM and I would have drive 3 hours to Albuquerque to get it haha.
