My interest in the bots has cooled considerablly. I'm now only looking at the 1/6 figures as well. Skipping that lame female figure he sold at Easter. I don't like the corny cartoony look. Hot Toys Ironman is looking great so I need cash for that.

Good idea man the bots definitely aren't what they were when I first got them, still like some of them but not as much with the newer releases. Love Hot Toys figures! I want to get myself an Arnold and Predator set Smile I do like the Ironman also, they have amazing detail that they put into their products.

I only wish that 3A can slow down a little and catch up on shipping out those that they sold 4-6 months ago.

Generally my understanding is that their delays are more about production cycles being made to order than anything else.

I understand that their figures are made to order. But the time from ordering to actual shipping is getting longer. Squadts are also made to order; but they are shipped in 4-6 weeks. I think the frequency of drops and increased production run per figure (as evident by the amount of 3A figures in Evil Bay) further delay the shipping. But this also means I don't have to buy during the drop and still can buy it at a decent price in the aftermarket.

Thanks for the clarification, ferg. But are they pre-made, before the drop?

Sometimes..but they are usually in production during the release.
Retail pieces are almost always completed before the release.

..actually there has been one 'made to order' release; GID NKD NOZZEL cyclops

That explains the 4-6 week shipping timeframe. I like this much better than waiting to receive 3A figures for 4-6 months. But the downside is that during the release time, I will be so nervous and afraid that I can not score one. Any new teaser photo for Terror Boys that you can share, ferg? I was late in the party for collecting squadts and completely missed Trouble Boys. I am really excited and looking forward to the release of Terror boys. Thanks.

That TK is just the same old bod, head mold, new hair and a pair of new weapons. Mad

Iuno, these TKs really strike me as the same old 3A gimmick of same mold, three million different colorways.

And while the design is still top notch as well as the craftsmanship, these days 3A are reusing their molds to, what seems to me, fund newers molds for bigger, more ambitious projects. Good for 3A making the most out of their products while keeping them somewhat fresh. It just seems that there is nothing new happening.

I for once, am just a bit overwhelmed at the rate of these. Grats to those of you that will go for it.
