Helmets with Removable Lenses

Post  Illusive on Tue Jan 28, 2014 8:34 am

Sorry if this has already been posted but I just thought it'd be a good idea to list all the Helmets with Removable Lenses and the Helmets that have them glued.

Removable Lenses:
Terrorboys
Troubleboys
NKD Jack
NKD Nozzel
Squadt Assembly
Fort Burnout Jack/Chipp

Lenses Able to be Removed: (not supposed to be removed)
Playge Doc
Treats Doc

Glued Lenses:
*all others

If im not mistaken, the only squadts with removable lenses are the nkd jack, nkd nozzel, terror boys, trouble boys, and squadt assembly squadts. All others are glued.

The docs lenses aren't supposed to be removable, technically. You certainly can, but I think he's asking about squadts whose lenses are supposed to be removable.

A Nerf dart works the best. Prevents any scratching.

They're all removable if you're careful.

Does using a heatgun help with removal?

I would definitely use a hair dryer instead. Heat/ hot air gun might be too hot for the vinyl and will warp it.

I had to pry the lens out of my nozzle with a micro flat screwdriver.
I still used the hair dryer and then pryed the lens off one at a time.
take your time.

Recommendation: whenever you have to 'pry' one out, use a plastic spoon. It's rounded on the bottom and shouldn't cause damage to the eye sockets. You have to use a decent quality thick one, though. Thin dollar store shit will just break.
