..DrilOne..

Post  unlucky_charm13 on Wed Jan 21, 2015 1:18 pm

Just saw that there wasn't a Dril thread, and I think there should be! He's one of my favorite artists, and a cool guy. I'm sure most, if not all of you are quite familiar with his work. If you aren't, he's part of Circus Posterus, and does amazing custom and production work and is well known for his decay/graffiti/military style. He got a lot of love when his gasmask dunny was released, and again for the multiple colorways on the last dunny series. But many of us have known him for his amazing customs and shows over the years.

So let's talk about him, see your pieces, news, and whatnot Smile

His AP stuff is always dope, he typically goes above and beyond with those (and everything else for that matter).

Niskio - a Dril squadt has been on my dream list once I get caught up on stuff I hope to commission one!

Speaking of his customs, he just posted the most recent picture of the mega munny he's been working on for me/my company. It's cross promotion sure, but was always a way for me to justify getting this piece haha Smile We're doing a shirt and hopefully more stuff with him in the near future as well. But we should have this guy soon and will be doing photoshoots I'll be sure to post.

There's a bunch of WIP pics on my brands IG and FB (@nolovecity & /nolovecity)

Thank you sir  bow  ..i was thinking of doing O scale but i have a feeling after a few i might run into space issues.. Mad so it just might have to be HO..and if you dont mind me asking more questions are they airbrushed or paint marker or brushed? i just really dig the weathered look on the green car..looks like a real freight piece.. What a Face clap

It looks to me that he used paint markers but I have seen it done with brush before and his weathering is paint brush it looks like a home made wash of some kind ! and its no problem man I love talking about the shit we talk about and post all day ! What a Face

All Acrylic and brushed... And thank you... HO scale cars are more affordable and are to scale of the real ones. But they are smaller than O scale. O scale tends to be more compressed. I still have a bunch I havent painted if anyones interested.
