I have some other sizes on this shelf as well as a large vintage one with the plans inside.
I've been at it for a while. That 6 inch R5-D4 is a hard one to locate now!
I'm glad found one back when they first came out...

They're worth picking up!
R8-B7 from the Rise of Boba Fett Ultimate Battle Pack

He belongs to during the Clone Wars.
IR Remote Control Clone Wars R2-D2

Diamond Select R2 bank from Toys R Us

The R4-P17 and Ashoka's droid are in the Clone Wars animated line and are based off of the R2-D2 animated figure. I'll have to keep an eye out for them... I was able to get one of the vintage R2-D2 figures from ROTJ today.

I picked up R5-P9 and R2-T7 from the Endor Battle Packs

"Tell me where this hose gets connected to or the Droid gets it!"

A friend of mine just got back from Disney, and got me this Star Tours R2-D2 light Spinner thing:

When you press the button the head spins and he makes R2 sounds and lights up!

NYCC Hallmark Droid duo

I finally located the other half to go with my R2-D2 VCD:

I found G8-R3 and a vintage R2 with sensor scope in really good shape today...

$10 bucks a figure is a total rip off! If I wasn't already so far into the Droid collection, I'd just stop!

I am up to date on everything currently available... (Tue Feb 21, 2012 9:43 pm)

This is a side by side comparison of the R2-MK versions

The original has a more metallic dome. (Left) The center leg comes down when you turn the head. The hat barely stays in place.

The Build a Droid version that comes with the starship is solid and has the fixed/removable center leg. The hat appears to be on there pretty tight and I didn't want to risk breaking it so I didn't remove it.

I had to buy the ship to get the BAD version, but it was worth it. I gave the ship to a friend of mine's kid to play with... He seemed happy with it.

As you can see it's a bit small compared to the real Droids. I wish they had done this to scale!

I went out and picked up the 11 inch talking R2-D2 from the Disney Store.

Scale wise, it's closer to the Hasbro BB-8

Located the R2-D2 and C-3PO mission series as well as Zeb and Chopper

It's sad that Hasbro has taken a step 15 years into the past with their current offerings.
Acquired the 6 inch Hasbro BB-8 figure loose and here it is next to R2-D2:

Picked up the small plush one to go with my R2-D2 and C-3PO from a few years ago...

I was given as a gift the Talking BB-8 from the Disney store. (Made by Thinkway Toys?)
it is probably the best looking BB-8 out there in paint and detail.
I will probably leave it in the box for now, until I figure out how to display it.

Thinkway Toys R2-D2 is out at Toys R Us!

It's slightly larger than the Hasbro interactive R2-D2 but you can control and program his actions.
He also does a cool leg transition where he rocks all the way forward. At first I thought the center leg would retract.
